The piece “Corrida à Portuguesa” depicts a traditional Portuguese bullfight, showcasing its various moments through distinct cornet melodies. It begins with the entrance of the bullfighter and the bull, progresses to the bullfight itself in a “paso doble,” and culminates in a celebratory lap of honor for the participants.
