🇬🇧 Work inspired in Indian “Ragaas”, focused only on rhythm. With four distinct movements that can be performed together or individually. Three central movements, “The Chase,” “The Nightfall” and “The Union”, based on an imaginary story, and an introduction “The Warm Up”, which empirically is the “prime oboe solo”, the tuning note. (…) I have to be in great shape to play all morning’s the tuning note to whole orchestra (…), citing here the oboist to whom this work is dedicated, my friend Salvador Parola. 🇵🇹 Obra inspirada nas “Ragaas” Indianas, sendo estas focadas sobre um ponto de vista rítmico. Constituída por quatro peças distintas que podem ser interpretadas em conjunto ou individualmente. Três andamentos centrais, “The Chase”, “The Nigthfall” e “The Union”, baseados numa história imaginária, e uma introdução “The Warm Up”, que trata empiricamente do “solo” primordial do oboé, a nota de afinação. (…) tenho de estar em forma para todos dias tocar a nota de afinação para toda a orquestra, esse sim é o verdadeiro solo (…), citando aqui a pessoa para quem esta obra é dedicada, ao meu amigo Salvador Parola.
